Our Story: Family-Owned Pool Service Since 1984

Built One Pool—and One Relationship—at a Time

Mark and Bobbi Howard started M.E.H. Pool Services in May 1984, shortly after returning from their honeymoon. The business began with just one swimming pool—and more than 40 years later, the team still services that original customer’s pool.

That lasting relationship represents what M.E.H. has always been about: dependable service, quality workmanship and taking care of customers for the long term.

Generations of Family in the Pool Business

M.E.H. Pool Services has always been a true family-run business. Mark and Bobbi raised their three children around the company, teaching them the importance of hard work, responsibility and treating customers like family.

Their oldest daughter, Tiffany, has worked for the company for more than 20 years, and her own children have also grown up around the business. Their son, Carson, worked with M.E.H. for seven years before completing college and pursuing another career. Their youngest daughter, Haley, contributed to the company for several years before preparing to move to Belgium, where she will marry and raise a family.

Over the years, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and nephews have all contributed their time and talents to M.E.H. Mark and Bobbi remain deeply grateful for every family member who has helped the business grow.

Returning to What We Do Best

In 2010, M.E.H. opened its first retail pool store and later joined a national franchise. The retail locations allowed the company to serve customers in a new way, but Mark and Bobbi ultimately realized that their greatest strengths remained in the work that started the business: maintaining, repairing and improving swimming pools.

In 2025, M.E.H. closed its retail locations to focus fully on professional residential and commercial pool service, equipment repair, pool remodeling and upgrades.

That decision allowed the team to return its attention to the hands-on service and long-term customer relationships that have defined M.E.H. since 1984.

More than four decades after Mark and Bobbi serviced their first pool, M.E.H. remains family owned and operated. The business has evolved, but its foundation has never changed: work hard, treat people well and provide pool services customers can rely on year after year.
